BCAA 4:1:1 contains three of the 9 essential amino acids, Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine, in a 4:1:1 ratio.These are classified as essential amino acids due to the fact that your body is incapable of synthesising them itself and must therefore be consumed via dietary intake.
BCCAs are unique in the fact that they are metabolised directly in the muscle to kick-start recovery. Other amino acids, such as Lysine, are metabolised via the stomach before reaching the muscle tissue. Now available in Berry Blast and Tropical flavours, BCAA 4:1:1 powders are easily mixed with water or juice, leaving a smooth great tasting supplement.
BCAA 4:1:1 can be taken by any male or female athlete, bodybuilder or sports enthusiast who is looking to supplement their diet with additional BCAA’s.
We recommend consuming 5g of BCAA (1tsp) before, during or after your workout for optimum benefits. Alternatively, consume anytime throughout the day to supply your muscles with essential amino acids.
